About Us

Eugene Schlossberger (Ph.D. University of Chicago), the author of five books, poems and essays, and 40 articles, embraces life, wisdom, family, art, and chocolate. He’s taught roughly 9600 students, four kids, six cats and one dog. (Number of cats who listen: zero.)  He composes operas and symphonies. His parents were Holocaust survivors who, even after fifty years of marriage, acted like teenagers in love. He’s been lucky enough to find a wife, Maricar, whom he can love in the same way. He believes that laughter is the applause we give for living.
